DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Laura joined the team in September 2017 to head up Kudos North – Kudos’ sister arm based in Manchester.

 

Before joining Kudos Laura was a Development Producer for CBBC Drama where she focused on developing original teen content, and she also enjoyed a joyous spell as Series Script Editor on ‘Danger Mouse’. Laura also worked as a Development Script Editor for BBC NI Drama, working on programmes such as ‘The Fall’ and ‘My Mother and Other Strangers’.

 

Before making the leap to TV Laura worked for several years in radio drama, where alongside production co-ordinating she produced Afternoon Readings for BBC Radio 4.

 

Laura is a born and bred Mancunian who after studying Drama at Liverpool John Moore’s wrote and worked for theatres such as The Everyman Young Writers, Unity Theatre and Manchester Library Theatre.
