After script editing Deadwater Fell and Grantchester Series 4 & 5 for Kudos, Danny moved over to the development team in 2020.

Before that, he script edited on all three of the BBC long runners - EastEnders, Holby City and Casualty, and was the assistant script editor on Hooten & The Lady for Red Planet Pictures.

Before moving into TV, Danny wrote, produced and directed work at The Southwark Playhouse, Theatre 503 and The Pleasance, Edinburgh and produced the long-running south east London performance art/ club night ‘The Shift’.
